Former Liverpool assistant manager Steve Clarke has left the club, the League Managers' Association said on Wednesday.

Clarke's departure was widely anticipated after the club sacked Liverpool great Kenny Dalglish - the man who took him to Anfield in January 2011 - as their manager last month.
Liverpool appointed former Swansea manager Brendan Rodgers as their new boss last week and the two clubs have agreed a compensation package which has seen three of his backroom staff move to Anfield, including his assistant at the Welsh side, Colin Pascoe.
Clarke, 48, offered his resignation last month.
But it was declined by five-times European champions Liverpool, the last of whose 18 English titles in 1990 came before the advent of the Premier League.
Former Scotland international Clarke had previously held similar roles at Newcastle, West Ham and Chelsea - for whom he played more than 300 games between 1987 and 1998.
Under Dalglish and Clarke, Liverpool won the League Cup last season and also reached the FA Cup final, where they lost to Chelsea.
But the Reds finished a mammoth 37 points behind Premier League champions Manchester City and that was deemed unacceptable by Liverpool's American owners, the Fenway Sports Group.
